Morning of the 10th (UK time). When did you order? I ordered on the 12th and the white. At that point I don't think it even had the plug selection nor any delay notice.

Doesn't this statement refer to the mobile version?
Yeah the plug selection is new. I emailed them and they said if you ordered prior to them adding that, you would just get the plug of your address country. When did you order? I ordered on the 12th and the white. At that point I don't think it even had the plug selection nor any delay notice.

That’s great to hear that Topping will release a mobile app to make adjustments. Much more convenient than plugging in a laptop and going through the Topping Tune software. It definitely could be regarding the mobile app, yes.

I can't imagine them cancelling orders over an accidental 15% discount. I was able to get mine for $245 using the $10 coupon they had as well. Hopefully it ships.I wonder what will happen to my order then![]()
Same here with $10 coupon the price was really hard to beat. I asked them about my package, shenzhenaudio responded that dac will be shipped in July as it is stated on the listing.I can't imagine them cancelling orders over an accidental 15% discount. Same here... $244. No date on shipment but they already charged my MasterCard so that's good.I can't imagine them cancelling orders over an accidental 15% discount. I was able to get mine for $245 using the $10 coupon they had as well. Hopefully it ships.
Okay, when you mentioned a quantization bug I was a bit worried but if it's still hitting 113 dB SINAD, only slightly above the physical limit of audibility if I understand that ~115 dB is that limit, I'm not concerned.@amirm , when you do the review of DX5 II device, would you please verify if this EQ quantization bug is fixed?

Can someone who has it please let me know what happens if you double click the knob? Does it switch outputs?
The DX5 (non II version) has a somewhat unknown feature that lets you cycle between headphones out and XLR/RCA out. It's really great for people who have a desktop setup with speakers and headphones. Needing to use the remote to switch outputs or manually via the menu is annoying, so it'd be great if someone can test this. There's no mention of a double click option in the DX5 II manual. My EX5 cycles through inputs on a single click and outputs on a double click. The DX5 II has a dedicated input select button, so I guess there is no need to overload the volume control which defaults to output select...

I don't think you should look at it this way. The quantization error will only happen in low frequencies when you have PEQ activated with a gain. You can see in Amir's review that when PEQ is enabled but no band is used, the result is transparent.Okay, when you mentioned a quantization bug I was a bit worried but if it's still hitting 113 dB SINAD, only slightly above the physical limit of audibility if I understand that ~115 dB is that limit, I'm not concerned.
Unrelated, but I wouldn't get my hopes up for an app, IMO, though I'd love it if Topping would come up with a web browser solution. If Fiio can figure it out...
Has there been any confirmation from Amir that he has a unit to review?Everything seems so refined in this DX5 II that we can only await @amirm ’s judgment — to know whether the promise holds, or if the brilliance still hides a shadow.
