I suspect that people ordering directly from Topping would get their units a lot sooner than a 3rd party retailer.

I ordered from Shenzhen audio at 10:56BST on the 10th and asked them about shipping today. They pointed me towards the update (dated to the 11th) on the store page stating that the 1st batch was sold out and that i'd have to wait 30 days for the next batch. I'm in two minds whether to cancel the order, I know I'd just go to the back of the queue to get it somewhere else...

I think I'm going to put in an order on Amazon today since it's up there, now. Earliest delivery date is mid-to-late July, but the other two shop options show August 7-20 as the delivery date range. I guess it's a matter of whether I want the money to come out right away (ordering directly from Topping or Shenzhen Audio) or when it ships (via Amazon). Also it depends on whether I am going to be patient enough to wait until August .

It will be the cheapest ordering directly from Topping (it's listed at $415 CAD, plus I have a voucher code to drops it down to around $402 CAD), and will probably arrive the soonest. There are two different pricing "options" available on Amazon - $419 from two shops, $409 from the Shenzhen shop (it's "Fanmusic", technically, but it says it's from Shenzhen Audio). The $409 CAD on Amazon is the same price as it's listed on the Shenzhen website, so there's no markup. The $419 CAD from the other shops (Aoshida Audio is one of those shops, and one I've ordered from a few times with positive results) might include a hidden import fee. With ordering direct from Topping, it might be the least expensive option, but it is unknown whether there will be any additional duty/import fees upon arrival, so it might end up being about as much as the highest option on Amazon.

Yes, I got an email to say that it's shipped, but if I click the tracking link, it just says 'Info Received, your package is waiting to be picked up by the carrier'.

If it was just shipped, that's normal. It often takes a day or so before any real tracking information populates.
