Hi there,
I'm looking to buy a first rate DAC and landed on the Topping D90. This thing can control it's output volume and so it can be used as a preamp. Why would I still need a separate preamp then, other than to have more inputs ? Concretely I thought about putting a Pre90 behind it. But why would it be better ?
