Topping D50s questions

Hi, I have a couple of questions regarding the Topping D50s:

1. How many USB 3.0 ports are actually needed to use it without an external power supply? One or two? It's hard to find a plain English answer on this that isn't spoken in voltages.

2. I'm trying to use it with a laptop with not enough USB ports. Is it viable to use the Topping D50s via a powered USB 3.0 hub? How much power would it need?

Don't have one anymore, but you will need 2 USB ports from what I remember.
You can also use a phone charger plug with the supplied USB power cable to power it, like the one that comes with iPhones.

And yes, a powered hub also works, just plug both cables into it and the hub to your laptop.
