I did attempt to seach with key words, it brings you every where reading here and that as soon as it finds key word .. you know, after one hour reading and not finding your answer, i believe I can still drop a question on a public forum ... still knowing one will come with an answer as your's " why do tou come here posting a question "
Anyway ...
Regarding the manual, i do not have it .....
Perhaps you could help Lupin?
Thank you

The best decider is your own ears, because they alter the sound in so minimal way. Usually there is maybe a hint of difference between the most populars, but also keep in mind, brain plays tricks on us (different moods different grooves)Thanks Lupin

It's been tested to be free of that issue, according to John Yang. Only two things come to mind: it may not play well with CD players vía Toslink and there was an odd bug in the early days, where playing content @384kHz would result in a pulsating static noise. The CD thing is related to the jitter rejection of the DAC chip, so it can't be fixed; the other issue got ironed out with a firmware update.Anyone has tested if this dac has the same obscene 3rd harmonic distortion when playing stereo like smsl SU-9 or M500?
I am considering buying it since I returned my SU-9, is there any quality issue I should be aware of?
Unfortunately, the PCM 384kHz noise problem has not yet been resolved. The firmware uploaded to HP is still Ver. 2.44 and has not been updated. It's been tested to be free of that issue, according to John Yang. Can someone else with a Samsung TV chime in on whether they're experiencing any of these jitter rejection issues? My local dealer messaged his rep over at Topping and apparently, they told him there could be issues with Samsung TVs (?) I found this odd but anyway I'd like to a second opinion on this as this will be a DAC for my living room so I'll be using it for both TV and music.
