New to this. My headphones right now are the fostex t50rp mk3 anniversary. I know they are hard to drive. I have an ifi hip dac 3 and have to have it turned up 80%+ to get it to point of too loud. I want a desktop dac and amp and would prefer a stack. I will also probably connect some desktop speakers to it if that’s an option. Even though I’m new I know myself and upgrades will be in my future. Already scheming about what headphones to get next.
I have the chance to buy USED the d30 pro stack for 550$ cad with xlr cables and usb a to b adapter.
Or I can buy the topping d50 III stack for ~ 570$ cad but I have a 200$ gift card.
Is one the better option? I still learning everything and feeling a bit overwhelmed by the lingo and options.
