Ordered two B200s today to replace my AHB2. Any idea on how to connect with the existing Speakon connectors?

Should I cut the Speakon and connect with a set of locking banana plugs?

Banana plugs, spades, bare wire … (in that order)

I canot find any locking banana to speakon adapter. Would a spade-to- female Speakon adapter like this be the way to go?

Impossible to hear a difference but might put some money in the wallet..

Not what I would have done.

Still, each to their own.
I understand. On the paper, there is a 7db difference in SINAD. It is not audible, just makes me feel better. The dumbest thing of B200 is its binding post though.

Works fine for me, the difference in crosstalk is considerable, because the B200 have none.
No? Then check the crosstalk parameters in the output device to the B200, although the DAC usually has a large gap in contrast to the preamplifier

Could you not extend the signal leads more easily and place the amps nearer the speakers with just a short speaker lead, that is what I did, though you may also need mains extension cables.

What loudspeakers do you have ?

I did before I bought the B200 - thanks.

Thanks for the great idea. I have a pair of KEF r7. I will get a pair of short speaker cables to connect, an advantage of having two separate poweramps.

Well, I've never been bothered by crosstalk in stereo setting, maybe if a headphone amp had leakage to the to other side it would be bothersome

Surely it's the same.

It does create the 'illusion' of a 'bigger' soundstage if the sax player on the l/h channel 'meets' the drummer on the r/h channel.
It seemed strange at first, if there is no vocalist in the middle of the soundstage that there appears to be a dark gap in the centre.
But this gives greater clarity to the instruments on either side without the 'muddying' in the centre.

Though all of this can be 'heard' in the measurements obviously.

But I'm pretty certain crosstalk down at around -100dB (AHB2 measurement) is inaudible.
