Not sure what you mean about, “too much chip ice based.” Pretty sure these are fully discrete, since they’re Class-B. Unless you know something about the exact architecture of these amps that nobody anywhere else is aware of outside of Topping itself.

B100 fully discreet with firmware and USB-c port? C'mon! You got it also, and you know real discreet hypex UCD won't blew up as this did...in web or even audiophonics site never manufacturer states B100 is discreet and being class B it could but I guess perhaps all that 3 layers feedback is obviously microcontrolled and btw sometimes it fails! Sometimes I feel a half second of full distorted sound with B100 ...only once at several docen minutes listening though... Actually I'm not so sad ...I lost lot money but not best amp... Even measurements was best , wondering if B200 actually measurements better and if it's actually discreet

I’ll know soon; my IOM Ultra (Hypex NC252MP, custom with XLR and with RCA inputs) is already built, just waiting to be paint-matched to my WiiM Ultra and then it will ship out to me at last.

I had had , yeah what a casualty, nc252mp stereo built from audiophonics, it's more reliable because is hypex, real discreet, more powerful but not as detailed and high resolution as b100 but much more reliable. I sold mine because I'm addicted to detail and it was not enough for me, is like hypex UCD, works great but not enough transparent, perhaps thd not enough low. But at least it won't blew in months. Perhaps it was the fault of my ex Tannoy mercury too basic. Perhaps is great with your better Kef. You will be confident it is more durable and work better with tougher load. Topping is good for DAC, I have DAC E50 and it's amazing good. That's all . For preamps and power amp choose other. I'm curious about B200 though...too expensive for also minimum 4 Ohm impedance also as B100, meanwhile happy with 3E Audio PFFB amp making dance some jazz from youtube music with my Triangle Borea 07 right now very low volume in Madrid , Europe

I'm curious. What component is this silver box?

Do you have an EPDR or impedance/phase plot?
Well the manufacturer says minimum impedance of Borea 07 is 5 ohm and @amirm measured other Triangle Borea and happened that manufacturer didn't lie in other model with minimum impedance so that's why I ordered it on France on home cinema solution and everything was great, I wanted a tower with good bass , mildly sensitive, manufacturer says 91db/w... well it run pretty loud with my other amp mini ta2024 6-watt so perhaps is true also...ad perfect for this chip amps that hates, as tube amps do also, low impedance loudspeakers ;)

Well hehehe is a Teradak is a popular Asian linear power supply for DACs, that is r-core transformer... 5v, pair great with Topping E50. Is better that directly the fanless PC USB volts also silver the other side of furniture? Perhaps not but I like linear PSU. I known nothing says it measures better, perhaps worse, in my mind it makes it slightly warmer everything, I know I'm wrong and that is against laws of science hehehe

Well the manufacturer says minimum impedance of Borea 07
I didn't find your model, but another one from Triangle: Link
Looking at the EPDR curve here, I would guess that the minimum EPDR value of your speaker is around 3 ohms.

I can only mention it again.
After the incidents, wouldn't it be time to at least put a note/limitation in the first post? If you read the first posts and see the voting, this could lead to bad purchases and damage ASR's reputation.

You must be surely joking, these are random incidents and they cannot be generalized to all B100 amplifiers. Such a warning would damage the good reputation of Topping manufacturer.

I'm not joking
I would simply communicate clearly where the limits are in practical use.
I wonder if Topping can make some improvements here, who knows...

Well my left B100 just went. Will reach out to Topping about it. I can’t even listen to my system at this time as I have no spare amp of any other kind. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

-Ed
i am sorry this happened. I am wondering if you went through the procedures for B100 trouble listed here, and what you found.

Yes I did. The power supply is fine, it powers the remaining amp without issue. It does not turn back on at all, hence no power codes. It is dead, and goes back to Apos today for investigation and replacement. Then the replacement and the remaining operating one will go up on eBay.

and the remaining operating one will go up on eBay.
Who tells you that this unit is not pre-damaged? I would also send it back for investigation.

How about connecting the working amplifier to the other channel and repeating the test? :))
Already done since I found a power supply for my backup amp (an old, stereo Fosi V3).

And remember, the problem is the bad amp not even turning on.

-Ed

It works fine. I listened to it for a bit.

-Ed
He's right, even if it looks fine you (or the person who will buy it) will never know.
Since the amps are identical and they were subjected to the same condition it sure needs to be checked.

Mine are Triangle Borea 07 with the followed manufacturer specs, and the one Amirm measured here Borea 03 or 02 cant remember exactly but what i remember exactly is the measured miniumum impedance by amirm was same figure exactly as stated in manufacturer specs of that model so this manufacturer dont lie, and this are the specs of mine:
