All the specs are overkill. Crazy power, crazy low distortion, crazy dynamic range. Plenty of inputs and outputs. Topping didnt spare anything.

As long the QC is good, all hail the over the top king.

Topping's "A" series amplifiers are strictly analogue devices; no internal DACs.

"PRE output" = Preamp output

= input signal passes through the Preamp with -0.1/+10.3/+19.8dB gain and the relay attenuator, but not through the headphone Amp.

Definitely, for me, this is the Chinese equivalent of the Niimbus US 5 Pro.
Topping seems to have put a lot of effort into this device, including its development.

Addendum: However, it should also be noted that the Niimbus, like other devices from this manufacturer, is very solidly built and tested and will last at least 25-30 years. Repairs to these devices are also not a problem, inexpensive, and can be performed by many repair shops worldwide, not just the manufacturer.

Probably an ideal amplifier for horn speakers like the Avantgarde Acoustic TRIO with an efficiency (1 watt/1 m) of > 109 dB. Nominal impedance 19 ohms, recommended amplifier power > 2 watts.
Low-noise amplifiers are always in demand, especially because of their efficiency.

This thing looks awesome, but you only need that much power for the Mod House Tungsten. Looks like a perfect pairing though. Seems like the Tungsten is the source of this recent arms race for headphone amp power.
