Trump has decided to stop planes coming from USA to Europe. ( Italians are still crossing our boarder by car with no control at all.)
For France it means that we are losing 1 million US visitors during a month, at least... too bad.
1. France - 89 million visitors in 2019
France leads the world in the field of tourism plus hosts a variety of places of tourist interest. France has cities of cultural interest such as Paris, Lyon, and Strasbourg. It has Alpine mountains, ski resorts, beaches, picturesque French villages, spectacular gardens, parks, and more. The country is home to a whopping 37 UNESCO World Heritage Sites which are well recognized globally for their outstanding universal value. 70% of the revenue generated by tourism is obtained from foreign tourists, while the remaining 30% is derived from domestic tourism. Much like France is the most visited of the world's countries, its capital city of Paris is the most visited city in the world.

It is a day-to-day learning living experience for us all, including the top decision makers.
We will look back @ history and say that we haven't learn yet from even previous history.
We are still not listening to health scientists for the humanity and our planet, our most advanced experts. What drives our world is not survival of our species but survival of our economies.
But now with a pandemic the cards are turning ... the winds are shifting...perhaps, maybe, hopefully, for the sake of human kind and its home...planet Earth as we know it, and everything else inside and outside of it.
I think, my opinion, the world.
