The L30 seem really, really hard to beat.

It does have a relatively low input impedance though, so don't pair it with something that doesn't have a sensible output buffer.

The JDS Labs EL Amp II. Combine the great performance of the Atom with the looks that contribute to pride of ownership. Good for something that might be in the rack a while. Plus that knob makes the ergonomics a pleasure.
