Edit 2:
It went a little wrong, I don't understand how my tablet sorts pictures, very strange. Never mind , most of the list is in the pictures.:D

Is there a text list someplace?

Hi Guys

This one is about the development of the ‘Hihat’ used by drummers. Previously to it being redesigned and changed to its hihat appearance as used by drummers of today. The ‘lowhat’ It’s predecessor came up to about ankle height. Quite clearly the lowhat could never have been used in the ways he hihat is used in all types of music since its invention.

It’s eas to YouTube it to find pieces of music, lots of disco sounds, The Theme from shaft is also a good example, but most music that has a drum kit the hihat is used.

Enjoy

Regards

Pegwill

Okay, there was a bit of a mistake in my first post, with the screenshots. In any case, here are the top five on the list::)

5: PC- Personal Computer
4: Keyboard
3: The Internet
2: The Radio
1: Music Notation/Printing Press.

Number two on that list is celebrated here::p

MTV (If anyone remembers back when it was music videos 24/7)
I sold and serviced 10 foot spun aluminum and 12 foot aluminum mesh satellite dishes with electronics when MTV was in full 24/7 music videos. We had a big screen rear projection TV and surround sound to show off the satellite TV reception equipment. I watched CD sound quality MTV all day long while waiting for customers to come into the store. Some veryyy nice full systems where sold to average Joes that just wanted TV reception. :D

I would have put valved instruments high on the list... The organ? And breaking the grand staff into bass and treble staves made life a lot easier for musicians. Seems like a list for "late comers". ;)

1)Electric amplification
2) see one

It changed so much, that people forgett it and just see it as normal.
No keyboards, no synths, no e guitar, no huge concert, no cd..... name it.
I agree with that. :)
Electricity in general is a necessity for much of what is covered on Rick Beato's list.

If you look at it in an even bigger perspective, it becomes:

What the hell is that?

Got it. Super duper.;)

Conclusion

Once in a lifetime there comes along a technology that breaks new ground and is easily worth its weight in gold. Such is the case with the Bybee Quantum Purifier. To put it into perspective, imagine the following scenario. Money is no object and you have the opportunity to purchase $20,000 worth of the finest cable/interconnect. Let me make this perfectly clear: $320 worth of Purifiers will make for a far greater sonic improvement in your system than would all of that cable. In hindsight, cable is a band aid - the Purifier the cure.

Napster changed music alright, almost destroyed the whole industry.
That aspect is pointed out in the video.

If we take the last decades (a number back in time) what destroyed. Auto tune and this sad loudness war with its compression. But on the positive side
based on what you as a normal HiFi interested person now can do in the digital world. This is a positive development. :)
