Dear fellow forum members,
On our ground floor we have a bit too much reverb/echo. See attached photo of our ground floor (kitchen + dining area).
We have curtains at all windows, but we have a hard polyurethane floor (cast floor) and not much more room on the walls for paintings and other absorbing stuff.
We are considering building extra isolation nicely build in the area designed as 'hal'.
But I would this be effective or barely?
What would be the most logical solution? We don't want it to look like a studio and preferrably not add thick carpet.
We could add extra sound isolation on the ceiling between those arcs, but would that help?
happy to hear some thoughts.
The height of the room is 3.14 m and the stairs are covered by big glass doors.
It's not a suprise that the reverb is a bit too much, but I hope to solve it in the most esthetically pleasing way (and hopefully not too expensive).
Thanks!
