I thought you were going to distribute them?
They have a ‘live sound’ distributor and I am sure he does a fine job, but no experience with domestic audio.
There would be a tiny market in the UK for these as would the Genelec 8381’s but at least worth trying.

He sees the speaker as the weakest point of sound reproduction,

He's hardly the first, there

as a former FOH operator in his youth, and as a bass player. A genius at work as most prelfic designer of the most powerful subwoofer in the world (see the Matterhorn), and look up a paraline for an example of some incredible engineering.

Emotional impact comes from low distortion, controlled directivity, and dynamic Headroom, with class D amps and FIR filters.

Does it now?

I wonder where all those emotions impacting me came from, when I listened to the Beatles on a little transistor radio circa 1967?

Maybe stay clear of the flowery language.

As "flowery language" goes, this is extremely tame and largely correct. Just substitute "Perceived high fidelity" for "Emotional impact".

Then why not do that, since it's far more accurate?

There is no necessary correlations between 'audio fidelity' and 'emotional impact', as my anecdote about the Beatles in 1967 illustrates

Relax. When music sounds better, there is more emotional impact. This really isn't a complicated concept.

Not sure that is true…
But it is what many marketing departments would have you believe.

Because it's largely accurate? How is it controversial in the slightest to suggest that speakers sounding good means better enjoyment (i.e. emotional impact)? If that isn't the goal, what's the point of any of this?

Equipment doesn’t impart any emotion, emotion is your reaction to the music.
Hearing a song you like on very ordinary equipment can evoke just as powerful a reaction.
