I am writing to request technical assistance regarding a True Wireless Stereo (TWS) setup using two TSA7802B amplifier boards, (I bought them with Party Mode, but I modified the firmware downloading QCC_Tool).
The Issue: I have successfully paired both boards in TWS mode (they played the "beep", though I don't exactly know how to confirm they are paired). When they connect, the Slave board correctly plays the system "beep" through the connected transducer, ¿confirming the physical speaker connection is working?. However, when I stream music from my phone, the Master board plays audio perfectly, but the Slave board remains completely silent.
Troubleshooting steps already completed:
- Firmware: I flashed both boards with the official audioB i2s tws.xuv file via QCC_Tool.
- MAC Addresses: I modified the Bluetooth Address using QCC_Tool to ensure both boards have unique MAC addresses. They are not cloned.
- SigmaStudio: Both ADAU1701 DSPs are flashed with the default factory project provided on your website, and I have written it to the EEPROM.
- Hardware check: I swapped the physical speaker wires to the other output channels on the slave board, but it remains mute during music playback.
- ADK Configuration Tool: I checked the Channel Allocation settings. The Endpoint Hardware Type is correctly showing as I2S.
Since the Slave board plays the internal system beeps but drops the I2S music stream during TWS, it appears there is a routing or channel allocation issue between the QCC Bluetooth module and the DSP on the slave side.
Pd: the issue exists for both ways, it doesn't matter which of the two amplifiers is the Master and which is the Slave.
I also attempted to flash the Party Mode .xuv file, but the board still boots with 2 LED flashes instead of 3, indicating the core firmware has not changed or the .xuv file is mismatched.
