My condo insurance is provided by State Farm. As part of their service they recently sent me (and I assume other customers as well) a power monitor provided by a company called Ting. This a new service provided to me at no charge (although I imagine some small part of my bill goes to pay for this). Here's a link to the site that explains their service and hardware.

I just received a "voltage report" from them about the voltage reaching my home care of AES Indiana. Good to see the nice flat line of spot-on voltage level. It's been warm here in central Indiana recently with highs in the 90's but the power company seems to be handling it well.
That's all. No big revelations. Just thought it was kind of cool and thought I'd share. A PDF of my report is attached.

Ting helps you prevent the most devastating fires - those that start from hidden electrical faults - with one very smart DIY plug-in device.
