TIDAL accused of deliberately falsifying streaming numbers

I’m surprised there isn’t more fraud and theft inside streaming businesses. It seems like there’s no transparency or controls over exact streaming counts.

There is, just undocumented. Distribution of royalties is most definitely not "fair" and we'll see more reports like OPs in the future imo.

Needs better legislation and control (imo).

I recently switched to Qubuz because after having a chat with a songwriter, singer in which he explained the royalties they get from streaming and encouraged using Qubuz over Tidal. I never had an artist take the time to chat with me, but after he read that I was a retired miner he opened up a chat window. His name is David Roviks who wrote "The Battle of Blair Mountain"
He also wrote and sang "Oppositional Defiant Disorder" which I can relate too.
