Pretty absurd to me to use cat litter boxes in the house. The smell is disgusting.

redoing the five screen starting of with LCR LF HF steadily doing it , most some EQ addressed on the NX3000D amplifiers to reserve as much CPU on the DCX 2496

microphones placed close to screen , using the smaller audio mixer and just four out the seventeen microphones

LF be later adjusted to shave off few bands on the corner of the LF slope to possible get down to 20Hz

done extensive listening testing in last almost 12 hours

tested some lousy movies , blade runner 2 , that is going back in the cat litter dreadful movie and so close to clipping its not that necessary , ejected got it of the player can't stand , hans zimmer lousy music score mixing

glory 1989 has been playing for almost 6 to 7 hours non-stop for Dolby ref JBL THX/TAP listening , lots of decent dynamic range fair dialog pans lots of decent foley sounds and decent james horner score

too bad can't fit the behringer FBQ 2496 into any of the processor/racks or amplifier rank just need 3U frame the FBQ could address the HF horn EQ but realistically would have to be in the processor rack so i can see what i'm EQ-ing ?

can't use the trinnov alt FIR filters as the signal will mess up ( SDU4 decoder C ) mmm, pity

SAS mk2 , changed out from SAS mk1 it was okay but i felt needed some minor improvement
two of these bass or they call it a subwoofer , but can still run at full-range , placed underneath free=-air so get some vibration on the floor and acoustical sound that fills in with only the surrounds ( only used for enhancing the surrounds ) often get bass frequencies that tickles my feet

DIE HARD (1988) THX Laserdisc Dolby Stereo AC-3
Centre channel has bit of upper click, click sound of the empty Beretta 92F
Right channel where it sounded the most at the cinema and on THX laserdisc has bass thump, thump end and upper click, click as seen in the TrueRTA when monitored on Lucasfilm Ltd THX Sound System.

this be up on the bench again for testing and a bit more complex REW testing that goes way , way , way beyond

anywhere from a single microphone to presently 17 seventeen or can be up to 24 twenty-four microphones for up close speaker to speaker frequency alignment

SAS mk-4
better , thou used as free-air placed underneath the cinema seats on the floor for only the surround zone area of the seating gives a better sound than the previous speakers or even bass shaker used as full range , pioneer TS-A300D4 affordable
the feel that is felt with feet on the floor and it reaches thee seat and some with vibrations its as almost better than a bass shaker depending on how its applied to the system and with the right logic of thinking ?
some bass levels with star trek the motion picture 1979 , ( wormhole ) lows often tickle my feet or toes , won't often get that with a bass shaker or any subwoofer placed in a room , it feels like being in the engineering room or on the bridge of the uss enterprise as the most rumble bass heard on speakers/surrounds is heard with little actual feel or would required it turned up too loud and may sound unrealistic ?
just four more of these pioneer subwoofer drivers for the rest of the seats or SAS ( surround-around-seating )
i watch and listen to a movie a lot harder than most would care for with often repeating a scene over and over and analysing picture and sound continuity on-screen and off-screen
with an actual in-floor full range subwoofer or depending on whether DSP crossover is applied with certain channels blended in , there be no need to go for excessive speaker-LCRSsw SPL dB numbers over 100dBc where most of the feel is reproduced a different , speakers often lose actual feel over a certain distance and often played back at unrealistic SPL dB levels
thou my room is tiny only a shallow profile subwoofer driver would be applied but i would lose at least 5 inches of room/height since the floor is concrete and would require a wooden floor
most have wooden floors , most brag about bass sub bass , an in-floor subwoofer array made up to be uniform on the floor with metal grills to protect the speakers but not from dust would need weekly or monthly cleaning the dust-filter
also the system can be used with below matrix surround , there is hardly any home theatres or even dub stages or cinemas that use those application and have or will just sound feel the same , not even dolby labs have it , except for maybe theme-parks

pioneer TS-A300D4 has been nominated its cheap its 20Hz to 2KHz or could can manage below 20Hz to where when it can't go any lower but for what an actual in-floor sub below surround array its the final dimension in surround that again hardly any expensive million dollar/pound home cinema/theatres ain't even doing ?

politics of it and it is , i rather say it all in a video
very good, I will watch your replay on YouTube when it is finished, because I am using a translator in my language

Yes, I know language barriers does make it frustrating to understand ?

Detailed summary of what he criticizes ANDY CAT YOUTUBE:

1.

  • He compares it to a real dummy head (artificial head with silicone ears) that he built himself previously. In his opinion, only that allows true 3D spatialization.
  • The Trinnov is just four microphone capsules arranged in a tetrahedron. He even tapped on each capsule to figure out which one corresponded to which direction (left, right, front, etc.).
  • He thinks the whole “3D” and “elevation detection” aspect is overhyped marketing.

2.

This is one of his biggest complaints:

  • The mic told him his speakers were “too high” or “too low” inconsistently (one day the left channel, another day the right).
  • He believes this is caused by the HF horns producing a bit more treble. The mic interprets this as the speaker being physically higher.
  • Result: He was correcting something that wasn’t a positioning issue, but a frequency response issue.

3.

  • Little to no audible improvement after calibration.
  • He actually preferred the sound without the Trinnov calibration, especially on the front channels.
  • The result sounded worse on complex content (music/movies), even if the graphs looked smoother.

4.

  • He compared Trinnov’s measurements with REW (Room EQ Wizard) on the same subwoofer → the curves were completely opposite.
  • This made him wonder: which tool is actually reliable?
  • Same mic position, but very different results.

5.

  • The processor doesn’t know what type of speakers you’re using (2-way, 3-way, coaxial, etc.).
  • It applies filters (mainly 1/3 octave), but when viewed in very high resolution (1/96), many peaks and dips are not corrected.
  • The calibration is optimized for only one listening position, even if you measure multiple seats.
  • Extremely sensitive to any tilt or misalignment of the microphone (he stresses using a spirit level).

6.

  • It detected the noise floor as too high even though the room was around 30 dB at night.
  • The Trinnov Optimizer felt disappointing compared to what he expected from such an expensive/prestigious product.
  • He finds it overhyped and aimed at a “snob” market.

Video Conclusion:He is “mildly disappointed.” He acknowledges it’s not broken, but he didn’t see the added value that justifies the product’s strong reputation. That’s why he humorously put the mic in the cat litter as punishment.

it's official i don't take the trinnov to the mountain , the mountain of cat litter comes to the trinnov altitude 32

godzilla minus one 2023 Dolby Atmos lucasfilm ltd THX sound systm

everyone keeps going on how great the atmos is with this , minus one ? how great the subwoofer LFE.1 is ?

monitored the overhead surrounds and LC RC , didn't know had CS on ? little use of Lc Rc , overhead mostly middle overheads and then all six are used effectively loud ! with panning , stereo zones overheads with x3 Dolby SA10 , it was meh okay it ain't star wars 1977

end credits reminded of cloverfield not watched the dvd in over ten years ? should sound great on the all new JBL THX cinema system ? yes the music in godzilla at certain time sounded like , cloverfield

colour was dreadful

i doubt i watch it a 2nd time

but godzilla ended up in the cat litter for dolby labs politics of lousy pretending the format is 3d audio format
