That mixing table looks like it will be enormous fun to play with (both for you and for your cats)!

What do you plan to connect through it?

Will you have control over individual channel levels etc?

total control providing the cats are not sleeping on it

Any danger that they might twiddle with your adjustments when you aren't looking?!


Edit: I guess it would be easy to notice with your multi-mic real time analyser. That also looks like a very serious piece of equipment.

live , testing RTA with new mics subzero cheaper than behringer ECM8000 and almost frequency identical , almost , " mostly "

Well, I said the RTA and mixing board looked fun; but it looks like a lot of hard work too. Tackle it at your own pace and make sure your hobby remains a joy and doesn't start to feel a chore.

once its all set up i can relax , can take in the video in real time , exhausting

placed few more microphones around the room only x8 behringer ECM8000 , ( two new mics " subzero " ) tested and come within same freq range to the ECM8000 only subzero are lot cheaper
only need 14 mics now and may go with , subzero half price of ECM8000
done another pink noise REW RTA test of the five screen JBL HF horns

additional dayton bass shakers to be fitted on the ( seat backs )

once finished be total 18 bass shakers
floor bass shakers
seat bucket bass shakers

additional behringer DCX 2496 willl have to be fitted into the rack to control the six zone bass shaker outputs channels

1 and 2 for the floor bass shakers
3 and 4 for the seat bucket bass shakers
5 and 6 for the seat back bass shakers

PEQ 9 bands per each channel 1 2 3 4 5 6 , for trimming bass frequencies for smoothness , audio limiters will be set to On on all six output channels to prevent overload to the amplifiers

variable phase and polarity + and - / time delay for each channel outputs

quad four channel amplifiers will be required , x5 behringer EPQ 304 , at 1U frame , five will just about fit into the amplifier rack

EPQ 304 floor bass shakers channels 1 , 2 , 3 ( for front row floor ) channel 4 back row floor bass shakers

EPQ 304 back row , floor bass shakers channels 1 and 2 ( seat bucket front row channels 3 and 4 )

music score has high dynamic range with drums precision instruments are felt deeply low with the theatrical mix
picture transfer looks laserdisc quality

cheap , double disc , not tested yet relaxing , the HD-dvd don't play due to disc rot lousy format that HD-dvd was

i been thinking about the ( bass shakers ) how it works with bass management on a processor what it can or can't do ( can't do in this case ) so i'll be installing a behringer 12 channel audio mixer that has 8 XLR inputs for each L , C , R , S , LFE.1 the outputs will be connected to one of many behringer DCX 2496 , inputs A and C the outputs , ( i guess this is bit complicated ) i should have it connected soon , it give me better flexible user control over the bass sent to the bass shakers i have to check if the behringer will fit in the remain rack space ?

Hopefully sound tolerant neighbours or hopefully far removed! Hopefully at least not in terraced housing, sound normally travels so easily between.
