These Two will be compatible via i2s?

Hy Everyone, maybe this will be a noob question, but i have these two i2s connection, one is
this. (Not my gear, i just trying to help one of our customer)

The Other one is this

Any chance for that these two will be compatible via the i2s connector?

Not at first glance, at least the DSD/PCM switch wouldn't work. This could possibly be done with a modified cable.

But you should post which devices it is about, since other incompatibilities than just the pure assignment of the cables have already emerged.

Thank you for answer. One of the model is an SMSL SD-9 streamer and for the other one, unfortunately i do not know the exact model it is some sort of 3D Lab model(Probably a DAC if the other one is the streamer)

Exactly with this streamer there were problems with I2S with different DACs, please look in this thread: https://www.audiosciencereview.com/...s/s-m-s-l-sd-9-set-up-and-basic-review.24864/

At least with the setting "I2S Normal" PCM should work, then you could use a special cable.
But if problems occur now, e.g. mixed up channels, then don't touch it, just a word of advice.
