The W&F Analyzer Project, Uberrimus

I think it is pickup affected by vibration...+ some kind of intermodulation is going on, sidebands appear too

Impressive tool this! Now I need to get my flattener out and do some more experiments...

No need for the web version then? If Claude had a throat...
For me no need for web version, but perhaps for others.

(And I think I need a flatter mat - neither my 30 year old felt mat or rubber mat is good enough and I refuse to use clamping....)

I cannot live without clamping @Thomas_A :) Michell clamp.
What is the problem with clamp you think?
I prefer just to put the record on the platter and play, and not have to add and remove another thing. If the record is not flat, I flatten it.

I just checked using a flat record directly on the platter - and it is very flat. Adding either one of my mats, the record wobbles a bit. So I need a good precision replacement mat now (after 30 years).

Python is not for every one, so many will appreciate a web version.
It seems no one read the spec in the first post. The web version is quite different.

I could only read it as "interactive"

12 page PDF and that's the takeaway? I'm losing my edge.
Well, I looked at the spec as well, it is more I can see that now. But what is there in the python is far better than anything else and I do not know if I would need anything more as tool for troubleshooting/improving the drive.

Perhaps I would like to see CV in the histogram plot.

Update time. Massive improvement to processing speed - every time (except for the second) that you see my mouse come on the screen I'm dropping a new file on the page to process. Measurement region selector has been added and is 75% there on functionality. Not only will this update the metrics, but it'll also use the region selection for the demodulated spectrum, histogram, and polar plot. This allows you to hone in on issues.

At the end you see the light theme. It'll detect if your OS is using dark mode and follow suite, or it can be toggled manually.

Coefficient of variation. (Not required, but just me and my statistical mind. Standard deviation/mean*100)

Wouldn't that be the same as the unwtd RMS W&F number?
My bad they are same when unweighted and unfiltered, so I take it back. I was assuming there was some other filtering.

There is filtering, but it's signal conditioning. Wouldn't really have a histogram that made sense without it.
