The Switch On Plop

I recently acquired a new integrated that sounds a plop/ thud via speakers on start-up. Cursory reading has revealed this as likely intentional design (omission of protection relay) and something to do with dc offset. I've also read of speaker designers being less enamoured with this 'feature.'

Is it something to be concerned about and/or worth measuring for at outputs? TBH, being not quite used to it, I find it slightly unsettling on start-up, and I don't fancy leaving my gear on constantly, as seems to be the widely prescribed remedy. Cheers.

Switch on the 'thud making' device first and then the rest.
Switch off the 'thud making' device last.
Problem solved.

It is indeed a design issue (cheapness of manufacturer).
It cannot be changed nor is it a fault.
