Saw this on a programme last night. Complete madness, but quite amazing.

Perhaps surprising that it seems so stable.

Interesting accomplishment.
I believe that someday the idea of personal flight will become a reality BUT.
Going back to the time of the Jetsons, I always remember thinking about a bunch of stoned&high, distracted, and just plain dumb yahoo's flying around the skies of cities like Chicago, New York, and LA. They'll be running into each other and falling out of the sky's like pigeon poop. :eek: LOL

With a little bit of diy he might be able to improve his ironman capabilities; with battery powered electric turbo jet.
Because running out of fuel is no fun.

Running out of battery charge is no fun either - ask any drone user.

Current battery technology doesn't yet have the energy density of, say, Jet A-1. That is, for the equivalent energy, batteries are still larger and heavier.
