Thank you for this post and link. Art News covered a listening room set up by Devon Turnbull in a Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian space in New York. Interesting to me at least how few music systems are shown in for example Architectural Digest.

So far off from any Dolby (or any other) guidance. It must feel terrible to see your carefully mastered content be butchered by the designers?

It's the music choices that get me, it's not the individual records, but the combinations just scream I don't have a taste in music, I just want to pretend I do.
