The MSB Cascade and the art of over engineering

You are lucky that in this world of garbage there is still at least one person who knows how to improve any of the junk you waste your money on.
It absolutely is a contraption. As is every standalone DAC. Let's be honest, there isn't much to buy that isn't now a contraption simply because, hey, your iPhone CAN do that, didn't you know? LOL. I speak from experience as a photographer... people love to point out how GREAT their iPhone photos are! Well, that's just wonderful. There are some things an iPhone can't do, hammering nails is one of them. Oh sure, the latest vanadium impregnated super sapphire screen might actually hammer a few nails before breaking, but it's better to buy an actual hammer you know? The right tool for the job, as they used to say back in the good ole days of common sense.
You know how to miss the point. An R2R DAC is not state of the art. This DAC is is a scam to take your money, lots of it and the scam is working.

Just use an iPhone. It IS state of the art. All the latest and greatest chips and stuff. Problem solved. NEXT.
