The most overrated and underrated headphone you tried?

I had the AKG K812 and they had far to little clamp.
Otherwise... sibilance issue. Then somewhat okay.
The K812 must be adjusted very precisely and should not be too tight, as it was developed as a work headset and is also very well ventilated.
As for the sibilance, it must be said that the K812 is the opposite of most headphones, it forgives absolutely nothing, neither in the music material nor in the device, and is absolutely merciless and unsparing to the music material. If there is a sibilance somewhere, you will hear it.
That is exactly why it is one of my favorite headphones, especially when comparing devices and wearing them for hours.

If these characteristics bother you, I can highly recommend the Fostex T60RP.

I see. My issue was that they were so loose that they literally slipped down bit-by-bit and it became annoying to re-adjust them over-and-over.

That's really annoying and a shame, I'm sorry for you. I've never had that problem with mine.

I can't understand your statements, except for the sound of the Airpods. The Apple Airpods sound good for such earphones, but can't keep up with the well-tested wired IEMs for €25-50. Such IEMs can also be expanded with Bluetooth, but not quite as compactly.
Can I ask what kind of device or amplifier you used to operate the Susvara and HE400i?
What do you not understand? Quote it and I explain it to you.

As for the Airpods, i meant Airpods Max the over the ear closed back headphones with 40mm dynamic driver, not the IEMs.

I drove the HE400i and the Edition X from my tablet, the Sundara was driven from som fancy DAP in my locap hifi headphone shop.

Overrated: AKG K702 come to mind. They felt kind of cheap and the sound seemed "off" to me. To be fair, it's been 10 years since I auditioned them so maybe I would enjoy them now with healthy EQ in Roon.

They're pretty awful at stock, although before I found ASR and before I really knew anything about audio I had managed to get used to them at stock! I didn't have a good idea of what neutral/balanced sound was before I joined ASR in 2020. K702 is very good with the right EQ though, but it's a bit more difficult to get the EQ right due to some unit to unit variations. I've been a major K702 nut/fan over the last 4 yrs since I discovered EQ back in 2020 - in fact I ended up buying 4 units of them and sending a few units to Oratory to measure, as well as buying a miniDSP EARS rig and measuring them myself to get the channel balance right, etc. If you've still got the K702 then I would recommend my Harman EQ I did for them that's based on my 4 units, the reasoning & everything is explained at following post:
