We have enjoyed having Persian rugs in our home for decades. One (an Isfahan) is shown in some of the photos in this gallery.

Oh my, that is a nice preamp. I do love the old Yamaha gear, and the new stuff seems to be of the same kind. Here is my workbench. A Yamaha CA-2010, with a Mitsubishi DA-F20 FM tuner, and a WCA-50 network streamer.New preamp. Swapped out a Yamaha C-4 for this TA-E7B. Gonna sit here and watch the VU meters dance for a while.

At first glance that Mitsubishi looked like some strange tape deck.
Also collected a pair of Kef LS50 Meta for 840€. again, not cheap, but i wanted to try them, now that i have the old LS50. See what the hype is about and if it's justified.
Damn. What a shame, both for the actual speakers being in unacceptable physical condition, and that they were misrepresented. I don't understand the mindset that allows people to behave that way.Speaker one:

Contacting the dude later, obviously he has to take them back. Why do people do this?
The A-S801 is fine however, just a knocked off solder joint on the treble potentiometer.
