We actually had a few posts about plans to do this end of last year. Even had pictures of the kibble balance in one of my posts. The old kilogram may have lost 50 micrograms. Hmmmmmm! Compared to using a cubic centimeter of water at 4 degrees C that isn't too bad.
New definitions for ampere, kelvin and mole. The ampere was done like described here (several months ago). Be sure and watch the animation.
