Batman, and Marvel comics movies generally, and the stream of movies, constant, several generations, handguns shooting car tyres, people being punched and smashed with steel bars, flying through the air, but they still manage to carry on... I think it's a major factor in what seems to be an increasing tendency of non-science, science denial.

We been watching these for a hundred years, the new kid is to blame, the internet. No matter how ridiculous or twisted your beliefs/views are you can find a support group. And don't forget "lies travel faster than truth" and now they travel instantly to everywhere.
