One thing Win11 does better. It sometimes detects a new device, such as a DAC, and simply checking it in the dialog box is enough to activate it in APO. Win10 behaves similarly, but with the key difference that activation there only happens after a restart. Atleast that is my experience

It's kind of sad that the largest and richest SW company kept the seriously underperforming nvme SCSI emulation for over 12 years (2013 - 2025), while the free-of-charge linux had native nvme support in March 2012 (kernel 3.3).
