Yep, those are the same folks that live inside their phones.I know some people who only respond to texts.
Ugh ... I hate voice mails.I know some people who only respond to texts. Emails and voicemails? never.
Texting requires me to use my hands for the phone. (If I am awake): Usually I need to be using them for something else that I am working on.I know some people who only respond to texts. Emails and voicemails? never.

YAP YAP YAP...
At lest text forces people to be concise. Because lets face it: typing on a phone, even a smartphone ain't fun and we're all lazy SOBs. :'D
My dad got us tickets to see a hot air balloon movie at NASM shortly after they opened the IMAX theater. That movie kicked my ass. I felt queasy and lightheaded for the rest of the night. No, it was at the Smithsonian Air and Space museum—one of the first IMAX theaters. I had to step out and felt crappy for two hours.

But any I have since seen were much better than the first one -- it had too many fast pans, etc.
Why not just make a normal phone call and talk directly to the person?I use talk to text, it makes sending really really long texts easy!![]()
I've used it a few times & it's somewhat helpful. But I am usually doing things that preclude having any kind of running conversation.I use talk to text, it makes sending really really long texts easy!![]()
I hope you include TLDR's. :'DI use talk to text, it makes sending really really long texts easy!![]()

Because, believe it or not, people aren't always available for real time communication?
It's much more convenient to have asynchronous / delayed communication, dire circumstances excluded.

Hey, I'm just messin with you guys.Voice male is useless in loud environments, because they can't hear the message. I work with and know people who have disabled voicemail!
People an really be different, personally you will VERY rarely hear me call you since I find it really awkward, it's just something about talking to a person but not seeing them and instead hearing them with often a bad quality low passed voice or a with really annoying delay. Also people not only talk with their voices but also with their face and body so if I'm gonna actually talk to them I _really_ want to do it in person.Hey, I'm just messin with you guys.
But seriously, if they disable voicemail they won't hear from me, I WON'T Text.![]()

I got an idea. Let's start a movement to use Morse Code for text communication.
Then the app could read and write in digital form.
Imagine the progress we could make in error-less speech communication.![]()

If you used a REAL wired phone you won't have all those quality problems.Im one of those people that wouldn’t notice if the microphone on my phone would be broken . I even dislike it when people send voice messages instead of writing a text .
