Hello guys, my hd6xx will arrive in 2 weeks, I want to purchase a dac/amp under 100 for it, I don't want to compromise power because people say that they are quite difficult to drive, is it even possible?, portable ones would be really really nice.
I have these in mind:
Topping dx1
Tanchjim space
Sonata bhd
Qudelix 5k
Sorry I'm very noob

Tanchim Space on the balanced has enough power and the Feaal 4.4mm balanced cable for them on Amazon is $15 and you'll be all set.

What would you suggest in general? I'm in the same situation, just got the HD6XX and I'm looking for a DAC/AMP, around 100-200 max budget. Doesn't have to be portable

I'm going to say Qudelix as I'm an absolute Qudelix fanboy. It has eq though which you may appreciate if you find the bass of the hd6xx lacking. You would likely want a 2.5 mm balanced cable though to get the best out of them with the Qudelix.

People say all sorts of things. Mine are adequately driven by +7 dBu (1.7 V) output of the ADI-2 Pro at −15...−10 dB volume with EQ. So you don't need very high voltage to drive them, especially if you listen in a quiet environment.

P.S. I vote for the Qudelix 5K (with a balanced cable).

I use my HD600 with Onix Alpha which I like very very much fro the price. With a FAAEAL balance cable I need nothing more for now
