Wow, I didn't know Audacity had screenshot stuff built into it... v2.1.2 here, and Win7.

using 2.1.0 ... 2.1.2 iirc was the version I upgraded, the screen shots appeared in their proper folder, but without the graph.

I didn't know it had a built-in screenshot function. I was just using the standard W7 Snipping Tool.
... Well, look at that... Audacity 2.1.2. Much of the Screenshot Tools functionality is broken. For example, "Capture Full Window" only captures the pointers, cursors etc from the panels. Capturing the result of a spectrum plot works OK. Capturing some parts of the window work OK, such as the Ruler and Meter. Guess I'll keep using the Snipping Tool meanwhile.

Exactly, during the process of ripping my CD collection; near every one was chopped below 50hz ...

Much pop music does indeed cut off the lowest octave or so, in part to allow playing more loudly on systems that can't go below 50-60 Hz, which is most of them.
