Look at the bright side, there are still abundance of NE5532.
Nice!! Yes, most devices do not need cutting edge nodes. You dont need 5 or 7nm for audio purpose. In fact its better to use bigger nodes because they are alot less susceptible to electron migration effects. This means chips last alot longer and more consistent in their performance.
