Testing to see if I'm posting a new thread topic correctly.

Also, do I need an image hosting service or just place with the image icon?

Perfect use of thumbnail image. It’s a courtesy to our members to use the smaller but expandable graphic insertion. Nice!

Imagine joining a Forum and becoming a “Donor” member and then waiting almost 4 years to post your first post. Now that’s patience and planning right there. ;)

@AdamG Thanks kindly for the feedback! I got a good laugh from your last line!

I know how to quote someone, but not how to include their name above the quote like you just did above. Can you tell how to do that?

Wow! Right there in front of my face, and I didn't notice it. THANKS!

I think you just want to include the hotlink to the users name without quoting them yes? We also refer to this as a “Call out” @matisse !

To do that start with this @ symbol and then start typing out their username and a pop up window should appear that you can select from. Try it with your reply to me.

Thanks @AdamG ! That looks like it would be a great way to draw someone else into the conversation. I was wondering, which is best just to ensure the person I'm responding to gets my message... the reply function you 1st pointed out, or do these both work equally as well?

I think both kick up a notification to the person in question.
