I ordered a Denon AVR x3700h online from this company. It was an in stock item, brand new. Two days after I placed the order I checked the status and it showed pending payment. I called Amex to see what the holdup was. There was no problem with my credit card. I sent an email to audio video Nation asking what the holdup was and asking if they can expedite the order. That was Tuesday November 19th. Today the status of the order is canceled and on their site. Thank you. The same item is going for $1,799.

Maybe a pricing error? You can look for crazy deals on the current x3800h around this time of year. I got a refurb straight from the Denon store for under $1K shipped.

I would think, if an Audio Retail place has an item for a price, and it states, In Stock, then it should sell for that price.
The X3800 is the newer model, but it got a bad review here, so I dont want it
Thats why I was looking for a new X3700H.
Well, instead, I bought an open box Onkyo TX RZ70 for the same price as what Audio Video Nations new price for the X3700H. It is a much better AVR

I'm sorry I left out some info on my post.
When I ordered the Denon X3700H from Audio Video Nation it was $1379. In stock.
For them to cancel my order, and then raise the price of the same exact AVR, in stock, at their site for $1799, is just bad business in my opinion.
I know Crutchfield, Sweetwater etc, Best Buy etc...do not do this to customers.
If you order on line, the price stated is the price you pay.

Denon did not have a refurb X3700H
