You really think that? 88 Sinad versus 112?

Obviously yes. Not remotely in question. The one with the required signal processing is heads and shoulders a superior product overall than the one missing necessary functionality. This one gets some pass for being cheaper than anything more useful.

I suppose the corresponding question is how bad your headphones need EQ. How about just using with UAPP?

Almost all of them are better equalized. And I don’t know what UAPP is but I assume it is not audio hardware.

Not feeling well so no listening performance. May do so tomorrow and report back but I expect no surprises.
Get well soon!!! Here in good old Germany in our doctors office (my wife is a family doctor) many new corona cases - but also a new Omikron XBB.1.5 adapted vaccination since today....

Between the BHD Pro and HD Pro, which one is more worth the money? Or is there a better value DAC AMP out there?

I am asking this question because I currently own a HD Pro and the audio on the left side of my IEM is not coming out, unless I connect the 3.5mm jack in a very specific angle to the HD Pro. Should I upgrade to the BHD Pro or buy another HD Pro (or other DAC AMP)?

Yes you are right. The Blue ones are officially called "Truthear Crinacle Zero" They are a little bit brighter. The Red ones are increadible clean. Most people prefer the Red ones.
(Do we really know that most people prefer the Red ones, I don't think so. Just a quick point.)

I, for some reason I find hard to explain, have 3 different TempoTec dongles. I love them. I use one for headphones, one for my tablet, and one in the car. Admittedly I could get by with one since I can't use it in more than one place at a time.

Oh, it was from a YouTube Video, which I can‘t remember exactly. It was from the Friend of Crinacle who was there when the Sean Olive Interview was.
There were 6 guys. 5 prefere the red. One Guy prefers the Blue…….
Ok, Not so scientific……..

I can' get it to open on Firefox. Maybe for the better...I don't need another dongle.
Lol, that's right! I've got the Apple Dongle which is good enough for mobile use, I don't need another!

Bang goes my theory this was the same as the Tanchjim Space- likely just shares a shell rather than the full thing.

EDIT- nope, defo not the same shell either

Noise performance seems to be much better on this, even account for amirm's "15db higher due to bug" note.

Anyone know what kind of filter this uses? Doesn't seem to be selectable, and there's no information on the Tempotec site.

3 day sale at the TempoTec Aliexpress store. This can be had for $60 (ex taxes) - says 14 day delivery.

I can confirm the promotion is going. The final price, with shipping and local VAT tax (19%) included (and with a small additional discount from AliExpress, I am a regular customer), was $68. I live in an EU member state from Eastern-Europe.

Just nitpicking, but is there a reason why the text and the values are in the opposite direction in the DAC comparison graph? To read the text you need to tilt your head to the left, but that makes the values upside down ;-)
