I recently purchased a Technics SU-R1000 amp and a Technics SL-1300G turntable. I use an Ortofon LVB250 MM cartridge.
When I run the cartridge optimization program using the Technics Calibration Record that is included in the amps package, I successfully manage to run the process and store the calibration under “Slot 1” and it seems to have worked perfectly fine.
However, when I press LAPC on the remote to activate the optimized setting for my turntable, it still states “Not measured” and the LAPC indicator on the amp is not lit.
This is frustrating since I have repeated this process twice but I still do not manage to activate the optimized setting. The display keeps reading “Not measured”.
What am I doing wrong?
