Folks I have been distracted by a squirrel. Only for a minute though as my quest for Model 19's continues. So what's the diversion? Why am I reaching out?

I am finishing the basement and of course the HT set up. Uggg... I am bit stuck and want to be practical in next steps. Can someone offer their thoughts on the following?

Do I upgrade the Blu-ray to something like the Panasonic 9000 or the AV to a 8805 or even a AMP20? My thinking is my 8801AV performs very well. However it will not pass the 2.1 HDMI standard. If I upgrade the Blu Ray I am thinking will be able to send audio via the hdmi audio out and I would run the video direct to the new tv? This would be the cheaper way to upgrade in the interim. Is this correct? Are there other options?

Given: Staying with the Marantz line for av-separates. This means the 8805 or AV 20 as an upgrade.

1. Marantz 8801 - current AV - love it. XLR's to separates, 2 7055's. (upscaling but limited)
2. Sony UBP X800 Blue Ray - current
3. TV - TBD.
