Tambaqui vs Okto DAC8 Stereo

What is the Tambaqui going to gain someone SQ wise vs the Okto DAC8? Looks like the Tambaqui re-construction filter is 5dB shallower from 21-22Khz with everything else looking neck and neck.

Is the custom DAC really going to fix 'issues' vs the ESS Sabre chip the Okto uses? Or is it just a switching deck chairs on the Titanic?

there are no issues, they are both transparent DA converters

In my case it's just an idiom for trading one problem out for another.
