Guidance please. Questions about running a Denon 3700h with power amp. Can I use a 3 channel amp and still use the AVR to control the subs and drive the surrounds? ...or do I need a 5 channel amp to power all the speakers in my surround system? Separate amp/s seem like a good way to go with AVRs at this price point. What would be some good amp' options with this AVR?....5.2

My impression from Amir's review is that audio is always available at the pre-outs, you can just turn off either the front L/R or all internal amps for a higher maximum output level. But if 1.4 V out will do fine, you can basically use any combination of internal and external amplifiers.
