Your CDs cost 25K and the speakers only 1500?

I bought myself some hifi this summer. Tests, tries now mostly for the fun part. Will sell off gradually this fall. :)

Speaker:
Kef Cadenza
JPW P1(refoam process initiated)
Qln One.
Total $ 360

Amplifier:
Harman Kardon HK 670
Cyrus 2 with PSX
NAD 3020
Luxor 7082 A
Fostex 600(recap process initiated)
Aiyima A07 TPA 3255
Around $ 800. The Cyrus was by far the most expensive (completely recapad). In retrospect, I realize that it would have been better to put more money on the speakers. Beginner mistakes.

After selling some amplifiers, I will buy a pair of Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 or spend a little more money and buy a pair of Elac Debut Reference DBR-62. Plus some subwoffers

DAC:
Topping E30, used $ 80

CD player:
Maratnz CD 5001. Do not remember what I gave for it. $ 25 maybe.

Edit:
It itches in my fingers, have seen a pair of used Revel Performa3 M106 out on the used market now for $ 765.:)

Current system not a lot approx. 3K. Yammy AVR, OPPO brp, Schiit Vidar amp, Maggie LRS speakers, B&W sub.
Total I've spent in the past; don't want to know. I quit smoking 30 years ago after doing the math on how much I was spending on ciggs.
I'm in the same place now with buying audio gear. So I'm a recovering audiophile.

Between 5k and 10k.

CDs and records? Easily another 20k (about 35 years of consumption, makes less than 50 per month).

It's like asking someone how much money you have in the bank
I'm just saying some people will probably feel uncomfortable saying how much their system really cost
They will not say anything at all then.

180€ on my bank account

Primary 2.2 setup, just amp, speakers, subs:
Retail ~$13.5k. My cost is about 50% since I got everything used.

Add the streamer, DAC, preamp, and power conditioner, total setup retail cost is ~$15k. My cost again about 50%.

My great fear is that my wife will sell my HiFi gear and gun collection post mortem for what I said I paid for them!!!

I can't answer the question and don't want to know. In terms of cumulative, it's well off the scale. And current system doesn't count either because it changes so often.

That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it. :)
I am old (80) and the cumulative amount would be an embarrassment to think about, much less post!

Looking at the response of young family members on my offer of a pair of Mackie HR824 (2-way active studio monitor) for free chances are higher that a thief goes for a boom box than for good stereo speakers...

I haven't spent nearly much as some folks but I like to think I have chosen wisely.
Upgrades
Sennheiser 6xx, just want to try.
4k Oled and that will necessitate a new receiver. Either a Denon with XT32 or see how the Onkyo/Pioneer measure.
Another, maybe 2 SVS subs. Move the Parts Express Sub in the Computer room.
After that? I don't know. Genelec? Have to see if their bottom tier stuff is loud enough with a sub I guess. But that is far off.

I am pretty happy with what I have to be honest.

Do you mean actual prices paid or list price of components?
Would be good to have this point clarified.
