What a rip off that they do not enable autoeq on 2000 pro and 3000 series. Computing power is nonsense, they just wanna sell new subwoofers.

Agreed. All the heavy lifting computationally is done on the app on the cell phone. Would be easy to restrict to 3 band PEQ Auto EQ and upload via Bluetooth to the former gen subs as they already support 3 PEQ max. It is a unjustified excuse to restrict to new models only.

The entire Revolution line is a different animal than previous releases - power, brains, motor, cones. The Auto Eq is another one of those updates.

Take advantage of their upgrade. program. Very few if any that I know of offer such a value.

Would never rely on their app for sub EQ and management. Unless you have something to work with your other speakers, this is not going to be a wholesome solution. We had DSPs on subs for a while now and could manage that with REW quite easily - subject to the first point above.

SVS for one does not have distance adjustment in the older subs like PC 4000 that I have. A bit of a bummer as phase adjustment is not quite the same as the distance adjustment. Could be close in that low range, but not the same. To that extend Arendal did better as they have both.

My recommendation - get your bass management and EQ sorted out outside of this solution. Always good to have more tools but we should understand their limitations.

Just ran the program with an Apple 14 Pro Max as the mic. Worked great, mic on the Apple must be very accurate. What surprised me was how the measured response mimics to the T the measured response of a recent Anthem ARC sweep using Anthem's calibrated mic that comes with my MRX1140. Had a nasty 10 dB null around 40 Hz. SVS corrected it.

Will run ARC again tomorrow over SVS's Auto Eq. Will first have a look at the SVS correction using Anthem's Quick Measurement option with the Anthem mic at the MLP.

Can you elaborate?

The signal is going through a AD/DA stage that is not really good, I had noise issues.
That was with the PB13 ultras, it could be they use better convertors now, but SVS did not want to tell me what convertors they use.

Easy peasy.....

I am already on Dirac ART, which not only does phase alignment but also, unlike most other solutions, reduces decay up to 150hz. It is also quite easy to set up and even auto setup produces great results. Not perfect, but probably best auto EQ system for low end.
