When using small signal preamps for microphone, mc/mm phono preamp or discrete preamp, a low noise power supply is a must.
Walt Jung and Didden have designed a topology that provide these low noise and low impedance over a wide spectrum.

I have used newer/better opamp and as voltage references led’s with lower noise.
The outcome is a super low noise voltage(9…18V) regulator(max.1A).

From linear audio: https://www.linearaudio.net/sites/linearaudio.net/files/v4 jdw.pdf

This schematic has noise <-130db.

Schematic can be adapted for 5V.

I have attached gerber files to order the PCB’s.

Have fun.

Nice circuit. Do you have some measurements, like output noise spectrum?

See pictures below.
Spikes in graph are from my noisy room.

Noise from my regulator, measurement limit of my equipment was -130db

I also measured a TPS7A3301

I see, but what is the reference level in those graphs? 0dBFS refers to what voltage?

12V if I see the pic right from my phone, it has a little screen attached.
