I just want to be able to use to
Connect a streamer and use it for my records. I have Kef R3 speakers and a sub. I just bought marantz PM6007 but I want to get something stronger because I heard the R3 needs a stronger amp to sound a bit better. Looking to spend around 1000-1500. Sorry to post again so soon

Are you thinking about buying a new amp because anything you heard on internet forums?

You need a stronger amp if and only if you hear your music at higher volumes and your actual amp doesn't have enough juice for it.

It’s not that. I bought the amp for a different speakers set and with no sub. I got the kef 10 cube and seems like 40 watts seems a little weak for it. I’m going to try it just looking for opinions

I was going to suggest a set of 2 Outlaw Audio 2220 but they are out of stock. You can solve the power conundrum and use a Wiim Ultra and still come under the budget to help with the sub. Still check Emotiva and Monoprice.

the wiim ultra paired with my amp will help power the speakers ? I’ll check with emotiva.I heard they are good for the price but I also heard something blew up in their amps ?

Absolutely, a power only amp with an Ultra would be a sweet deal. make sure you have enough power. Those Outlaw have always reviewed very good. I would also look for Monolith. They could be an option. Proving that you dont need to overspend to get the best results.
