Suggestions for headphones a little “warmer” than Sony MDR-V6?

I’m enjoying my V6 headphones, but for fun I’d like to get an alternate pair that’s a little warmer, without losing detail. The V6’s seem ruthlessly accurate, perhaps lean with a lower treble peak, and I’m looking for something with more bass and midrange body, and less sizzle. Over ear under US$150 would be nice. Driving them with a Topping D3 DAC/amp. Thanks!

open or closed ?

For closed consider this one (needs other pads) amongst other recommendations you may get.

I’ve no experience with open (the V6 is closed) but would be...uh...open to open. Isolation is not a primary concern. Thanks for the suggestion!

Brainwavz HM5
Beyerdynamic DT770

These all differ somewhat here and there but are all 'side grades'

Sennheiser HD 598 or Senn x Massdrop 58X for $150 or less.

If you can get stretch your budget another $50 you could just get the 6XX and be done with it. It's a rebranded HD650 and the absolute best bang for your buck in full size headphones.

The DT770s - this is the 80 ohms Studio version? I like what I’m reading about these.

All the versions sound very similar. The 80 ohm pro version has a tighter headband with a lot more clamp.

1MORE Triple Driver Over Ear. Just a tick under $200. Definitely a warm sound.

Aw heck...just ordered a pair of Sennheiser 6xx from Massdrop. It’ll be fun to try something different. Never heard an open-back pair.

Closed AKG K550/551/553 - u can get them on harmanaudio refurb pretty cheap. Open - AKG K7xx, Senn 58x, 6xx. Also try Monoprice 8323 with HM5 pads - I have yet to have any headphones so linear (and boring), I had to EQ them to have any fun.
Also, I have Sony 7506, those r sensitive, but too linear.
Audiotechnica M40x is closed, fun, V-shaped.
