Subwoofer Help ASR save me money again

I’m building out a 7.2 system with an acoustically transparent screen. Using a 135” Stewart WallScreen Deluxe StudioTek 130 G4 screen material and the MicroPerf X² THX Ultra Perforation. The speakers will all be Revel F228Be all the way around. LCR will be behind a false wall with the screen. Stewart Filmscreen recommends 12” setback so that will be where I place them.

On the subwoofers I’ve been wanting to go with 2 nonported subs. I want to place them behind the screen and am perfectly comfortable building a platform to elevate one or both. My reading on the forum seems to recommend this. I know about sweetcaos awesome subwoofer guide and have looked. Subwoofer budget is under 4K for both preferably under 3k. I’ve been asked by the boss not to put a bunch of subs out in the seating area. Considering everything going into this it seems like a reasonable ask.

SVS currently is having a sale on their 2000 Pro series, their 4000 series and their 16-Ultra series.

I also would look at Rythmik, as well as Arendal mentioned by staticV3.
