Hi,

When adding a DSP enabled sub to an AVR is it better to only run the AVR room correction, or run the Sub DSP either before or after?

I thought this would be a common question but didn’t find previous threads answering it.

I got an Onkyo RZ50 with a SVS SB1000 pro on the way

I recommend configuring the DSP on your sub and maximizing its performance first. Once you have it dialed in, then run DIRAC on the Onkyo TX-RZ50 and make your adjustments there. That's how I managed my setup and I am very happy with how it turned out.
