Basically once room treatment is in place, should I be considering dsp?

Yes, PEQ for treating modes for sure, and active correction (Dirac ART, perfect soup, trinmov wave forming) if you have the budget and enough subs.

Make sure you do measurements before adding room treatment so you don't over-absorb the wrong frequencies.

Thanks.
Im simply using 2 x speakers/stereo no sub with the Dirac MiniDsp i thought it was just 2 pieces of software from the website but im easily confused, it appears there's 3 software options?
Rew, dirac live and dirac art.
What do you mean by perfect soup i5 appreciate trinov wave is their own software which is way out of mu league

With no sub you can just use PEQ through different apps, or you can use Dirac Live. Bass Control and ART are add-ons / separate products from Dirac, but they're mostly only for when you have subs.

Perfect Soup is similar to Dirac ART but it's a different company and it works via VST plugin.

REW is a free app that you use to take measurements of the room, and you can also generate EQ settings with it, you can use them in EQAPO on Windows, Soundsource on Mac, or other apps that support PEQ.

Just checked Unami's perfect soup.
Actually a good start.
60 day free trial and 1 year config is 59usd so not a deal breaker and good to see how it goes before shelling out for the 680gbp hardware.
Probably buy the daric 2 mic for config if thats not USB.
I think the 60 day free trial will be a good start with my existing adams to see how it works, what the room shows up before reaching out to GIK and going on a 3 hour road trip to audition speakers.
This is a great starting point.
Thank you.

One thing I would mention is tools like perfect soup and ART work much better if you have 2+ subs, 4 are recommended. There are other free correction tools that work similarly if you aren't using subs, check out Gsonic and decaycore also.

You can also get pretty decent results just with REW and EQAPO for free.

But yes either way you need a measurement mic.
