Streamer not made in China

You might have to DIY your own with Volumio or Raspberry Pi stuff. Cos almost everything reasonably priced is made in China.

Good Luck
Well there used to be Allo usbridge signature for DACs preferring usb input. However, they’ve gone out of business. It seems like there are still alternatives for I2S but not much option for usb. I would DIY on raspberry 5 but it has way more processor etc. than previous versions resulting EMI. Do you think one with beginner DIY experience could integrate LDOs or any other measures to minimize jitter/noise. Would love to hear thoughts on this.

Nothing against Chinese people or quality of the products made by Chinese people. I am against Chinese government. Don't want to discuss politics and geopolitics in this forum. I know its impossible to buy anything which is 100% not made in China but I would like to at least reduce the amount of money going to China.

Same. I won't purchase from a Chinese owned company if at all possible. I don't care if their product is of the highest quality and at the lowest price. That isn't the point and I will happily pay a premium. I asked a similar question on a different forum and was attacked for my preference even though I didn't challenge others that choose differently. It is just my preference and my reasons will never satisfy those that disagree so why bother? It shouldn't matter but I am the godfather of a beautiful Chinese girl and close to a Chinese brother in law. (Not the same families).

While I would have liked a get a Streamer from a USA owned company, due to size and space limitations in my equipment cabinet and the features I was most interested in, I ended up ordering the Stream1 from Innuos. I would love options from USA owned, and many other countries, that use minimal parts sourced from Chinese companies but understand that is a challenge that hopefully will change over time.

I love the RPI4 with Moode. It has many options not found elsewhere:

1. It can stream from my computer using Audirvana with Qobuz or Tidal.
2. It can be used as a streamer with a Denon receiver.
3. I have a 256GB SAMSUNG Fit drive mounted on USB3 port. It has 77 of my favorite albums and automatically starts playing as soon as the RPI4 is turned on. The drive is only 30% full. I can log into it with an IP address using a phone, tablet or computer and see all the albums - select any of the music to play and then turn off the web browser. Nothing else out there is so trouble free and easy to use. Its easy to share the bookmark with everyone in the home.
4. You can use any DAC you want but the RME ADI-2 DAC with push button Loudness Control is my favorite with RPI4/Moode.
5. It costs $80 for the RPI4, $12 for the SDCard and $20 for a 256GB Samsung Fit USB3 drive.
It's the most flexible audio streamer available and extremely inexpensive. I have four of these in different rooms. Totally the best streamer available at any price. What's not to like.
